We provide grazing services in both North Marysburgh and South Marysburgh of Prince Edward County.

Do you have old pasture land that has been overtaken by the invasive cedar tree? Would you like to improve the amount of top soil and soil quality of your land? Would you like to improve the ability of your land to sequester carbon to fight climate change? Would you like to increase the value of your land? Would you like to improve the habitat for endangered grassland birds such as the bobolink? Would you like to visit with our friendly sheep for a few days?

Our grazing system with our sheep can offer all of these services. Keep them coming back year after year and you will be amazed at the visible improvements you will see in your land and its productivity.

As the sheep graze your property, they remove the thatch and dead growth allowing for new, more productive growth to develop. They also deliver nitrogen and fertilizer to the soil further increasing productivity. After just a few visits you will begin to see their positive effect on the land. Grassland birds will return so will other grazing animals such as deer and rabbits. The sheep also trim the trees to sheep height, opening up the land and creating a nice aesthetic.

If you are interested in our grazing services, please do not hesitate to call.

Here's a little reading about the benefits of rotational grazing on soil quality, productivity, grassland birds, plant composition, and carbon capture: (It involves cattle, but we follow the same management system).
